GeoGlass - New Textile/Print Collection

— GeoGlass I & II —

GeoGlass is a colourfully balanced, geometric collection of designs inspired by a combined love for stained glass windows and geometric art. With harmonious kaleidoscopic-like symmetry, the artwork features several different palettes. There are 20 designs in total, based on ten colour themes (including a festive-themed palette) that are bright, complementary and work well in print, on accessories and apparel, printed using the sublimation process.

The work comes in two formats. A seamless tile and a freestanding design

— GeoGlass Chilli Peppers —

The title is a tadge misleading, considering I won't stray beyond the mild sweetness of a Bell pepper! However, put your Scoville scales aside because it's not their heat that interests me so much as their vivid, rich skins. The perfect inspiration for a food-themed palette.

— GeoGlass Floral Dance —

Of all the palettes, Floral Dance was among the most challenging, as it went through a series of revisions before I submitted the final result. It's a botanical themed palette in a complementary range of green and pink hues with not a single flower in sight.

What's a collection without a festive-themed palette? However, if you're after a commercial cliche,
then you'll need to look elsewhere.

— GeoGlass Ice Cream —

Think ice cream. Specifically, Neapolitan ice cream, and you have a yummy palette comprising of strawberry pinks, chocolate browns, and chocolate tinged wafer cones. All joyously eaten on a warm Summer day under a cloudless blue sky! Oh, and if you're wondering what happened to the vanilla, I ate it!

They're mined in their thousands and come in some of the most beautiful colours. However, the chances of owning one, unlikely. It's a personal fave that may also appeal to the spiritual beings amongst you.

— GeoGlass Primary —

The name speaks for itself. And, if you're old school (like me), you're likely to have been taught about the importance of red, yellow and blue. The only three colours in the spectrum (in theory) you can't make by mixing other colours. And given their rich vibrancy, why would you want to? Although, one wonders how many digital artists, born under a certain age, believe these three colours to be red, green and blue!

Remember those warm, balmy days spent walking along a sunkissed beach? Nope, me neither. But, even if it's been a while, a day on the beach is always a precious memory.

While 'Streetwise' is no Banksy, it's a bright, punchy palette with bold colours that will almost certainly brighten up any bedroom wall.

— GeoGlass Regal —

The symbolism and history behind the use of purple and gold in royal circles dates back centuries. Together, they often define wealth, nobility, luxury and power. Of course, mine is less expensive, but if it's good enough for HRH, it's good enough for me.

— GeoGlass Tropical Vibes —

When you think tropical, you think citrus fruits, hot balmy climates and bleach white sandy beaches.
This palette tries to define them all. The only thing missing is a Pina Colada!
